A very happy Thanksgiving to the Food Rx community! My hope is that today finds you with loved ones, reflecting on all the blessings you have in your life.
This year, I made the trip out to Charlottesville, Virginia, to see my brother. I’ve shared with you some photos of the feast my brother and his wife prepared for our Thanksgiving meal. Every dish was SCD compliant, and included ginger and raison braised beef brisket, balsamic and wine glazed cornish game hen, SCD stuffing, cranberry sauce, honey squash puree, green beans, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. To say I’ve been spoiled is an understatement. Thank you so much Madigan and Magali!
For those of you experiencing digestive discomfort on this holiday, please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I steadfastly believe that with effort, 2014 can be the year you kick IBD to the curb. Those of us at Food Rx are here to help you achieve that goal. Let’s get to work.
